'Adgar' was established in 2005 by Alex Adgar. A former fine art student, Alex studied at Bath Spa University college. Alex graduated in 1999 achieving a first for his final show. This education provided the foundation of experience needed to present fine art at the highest level.

As a graduate Alex began working alongside established cabinet makers. Drawing upon their vast knowledge and practice in working with wood. The combination of his fine art degree and wood working skills enabled him to begin framing work for fellow artists, friends and colleagues.

Alex' experience and previous history has set him apart from the industries standard.
